| How Do I Place A Hold? |

First, access the catalogue at www.tracpac.ca or from the Marigold website at www.marigold.ab.ca and click on search the catalogue.
Next, select a method of searching: title, author, keyword, etc.
Type in the search terms you wish to use and click on the GO button or press ENTER.
Click on the items to see what libraries have a copy. If the item is not at Chestermere Public Library or our copy is checked out, click on the request item button. At this screen you need to enter your library barcode (no spaces) and your PIN number. Your PIN is the last 4 digits of your home telephone number.
Click Login and the system will confirm your request.
Choose the library where you would like to pick up the items when it becomes available--TRACpac usually defaults to your LOCAL library location.
Click Request. You will be given a chance to cancel the request at this time if you change your mind.
If you want to search for more titles, click on return to searching. If you are finished using TRACpac, click on Logout and return to end your session.
When your hold arrives at the Chestermere Public Library, staff will call you. You then have one week to pick up the hold. If, at this time, you no longer want the title, please call us at 403.272-9025 so that we can send the item on to another customer or back to its home library.
